In June 2006, Sky Orchestra took to the skies over Stratford Upon Avon to perform a new composition commissioned by the Royal Shakespeare Company as part of their Complete Works Festival. The score, inspired by 'A Midsummer Night's Dream', was written by composer, Dan Jones and complemented by readings from the actors Patrick Stewart and Janet Suzman.
The event on 23 June lead into a 'Dream Concert', also by Luke Jerram and Dan Jones on 30 June at Compton Verney art gallery. Around 100 people took part in the mass sleepover where they fell asleep to the sound of music. The Dream Concert was part of an ongoing research collaboration between Luke and Sleep scientists from the University of the West of England.
