Sky Orchestra opened the 2007 Sydney Festival with a launch of seven balloons. There were five flights across the city over a period six days.

A report from a Sydney Radio station...

A child was awake in the early morning as the sky orchestra flew over head. She ran outside to listen to the music. Her father came out of his bedroom complaining that she had the TV on too loud. He had to apologies when he realised that it was in fact music coming from the sky
